Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Anaheim Convention Center

The best things about this hotel are the location to Disneyland’s main entrance and the pool and hot tub. We did not use the pool because it was cold, but it’s a huge, very clean pool with one end reaching 8 feet deep. The hot tub was nice and hot and felt really relaxing after a long day of walking for miles at the park. Also, it was very quiet at this hotel. The not so nice things about the hotel are that it’s old so it needs some updating and repairs. The paint is peeling on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The thermostat on the heater did not work properly. It would heat the room way beyond the set temperature and in the middle of the night, it would start making a really loud grinding sound and we would have to turn it off and then back again. They didn’t use a fitted sheet on the mattress. There was just a top sheet that was too small so the bottom third of the mattress pad was exposed with no sheet on it. I would recommend bringing slippers or wearing socks at all times as the floors turned my daughter’s socks black. There is a refrigerator and a microwave which is convenient. And we liked the room we had because there was a king bed in one room and then a queen bed in a separate room with a door so my daughter could have that nice quiet space all to herself. There are several great restaurants right down the street. The price was unbeatable. So if you really want to save money, stay close to Disneyland and you don’t care about having anything fancy this is the hotel for you.

This hotel is fine if you just need a roof and some walls. Just know what you’re getting yourself into. Definitely a “you get what you pay for” situation. Every surface in our room was disgusting. Walls, doors, floors, bed sheets. The place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. I personally would never stay here again, simply because I didn’t feel comfortable with anyone in my family touching anything in our room. We immediately looked for a different place to stay as soon as we checked in, but unfortunately didn’t have any luck. **EDIT** We were able to cancel our room here and get a full refund. We went to the La Quinta around the corner. Much better situation there.

We stayed here for just under a week due to Disneyland. It was a nice easy walk to Disneyland, around 15mins at most and you was at the front gates. Great location for this nearby are lots of restaurants, shops for food. We got parking at the hotel, was easy to find too. Rooms was always clean and tidy each day, no issues with bathroom etc We did use the hot tub a few times which was very nice and hot. Would book again for a Disneyland trip.

This hotel is very basic but met our needs. The customer service was exceptional from the moment I booked the room. The rooms are clean, and the beds and pillows are comfy. The towels could be larger but they did the job. The hot tub was hot and a good place to soak our achy feet after a full day at the park, but I do wish it was cleaner. Overall a good stay!

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for our annual trip to California and we loved it. The 6 person room fit us all in comfortably which was fabulous, the rooms were cleaned each day, in fact, from the bathroom I could see the Guardians of the Galaxy Breakout ride through the window, amazing!! They don’t have a washer or dryer to do laundry but you can pop next door and use their facilities which are $4 for washing and $4 for the dryer. The beds are the most comfortable that I’ve slept in of any hotel close to Disney. After a day of 28,000 steps, resting in these beds refreshes you for the next day, loved them. The parking lot is a decent size but can fill up quickly. The pool is great for a quick dip, my two youngest loved it. The only down side I’d say are the towels; they’re a little crispier than one would like. Beside that; the staff were a delight and we loved staying here! We would definitely return again because it is so close to Disney, quiet, and perfect for a family!

Overall a good experience. We were “upgraded” because the room we paid for was unavailable, but we were unable to use the upgrade? There was a secondary bedroom and the tenant locked the room so it we weren’t able to use it. We didn’t need the additional room, but I find it strange that it was taken away from us since the room we paid for was no longer available. The bathroom was upgraded, and the close proximity to Disney was very nice. The beds do need to be updated because they were very sunken but they were just fine to sleep and go hit the parks. Room came with a fridge and microwave which is always a plus, and be aware the walls are thin. We would stay again for future use.
